Creating a secure setup session…

The CLI stores a team-scoped key in ~/.dotmock/config.json. Never commit that file.

Usage balance

One dollar balance for everything you run.

Every live DotMock action has a transparent retail rate. Runtime, streams, webhooks, proxy traffic, LLM fixtures, and Dot draw from the same USD-denominated balance.

Additional usage is prepaid

Active paid teams can choose a preset or custom prepaid amount, starting at $10, and keep using the same retail rates below. There are no postpaid overage invoices: live usage pauses if no balance remains. Purchased balance expires after 12 months.

Reload automatically, within a cap

Auto-reload stays off until an admin enables it. Each charge adds $10 when 10% of the monthly balance remains, up to the monthly cap the admin sets. Payment failure stops further attempts.

Included and additional usage

One rate card before and after the monthly grant.

Included balance and purchased reloads use the same rates. Additional usage is never added to a later invoice; it requires available prepaid balance.

Hard stop, no surprise bill

Live execution pauses when the usage balance reaches zero. Authoring, account access, billing, and dry runs stay available. Paid teams can add prepaid balance or enable auto-reload within the spend cap an admin sets.

Allowances refresh monthly

Included balance refreshes on the billing anchor date, even on annual plans. Purchased reloads remain available for 12 months and are used after the included balance.
